| Since its formation in 2012, Gopher Digital Productions has been the video production arm of the University of Minnesota athletics department, working with all 22 Golden Gopher varsity sports in the areas of live broadcast and on-demand video.
Gopher Digital Productions oversees all in-venue video board operations (Huntington Bank Stadium, Williams Arena, 3M Arena at Mariucci, Maturi Pavilion, Jane Sage Cowles Stadium and Siebert Field) as well as the Big Ten Network's StudentU presence on campus. Additionally, GDP produces all on-demand video content for GopherSports.com, the Gophers official YouTube channel and other outlets, including nationally-recognized behind-the-scenes web series "Brick by Brick" and "Raise the Barn". In 2013, the University of Minnesota won the "Best Overall Display" award at the annual IDEA Conference (Information Display and Entertainment Association) in the University division. |
