Following a third-place finish at Friday's NCAA Midwest Regional, the Minnesota cross country played the waiting game, as only the top two teams in each region automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships. The Golden Gophers learned today that they have received one of 13 at-large bids for the national meet.
The race on Saturday, Nov. 17, in Louisville, Ky., will be Minnesota's eighth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships. The Gophers are one of just a small handful of teams currently holding that long of a streak.
The complete list of team's qualifying for the NCAA Championships can be found here.
