The 2011 Golden Gopher Women's Cross Country season is set to get underway. This years' squad of 55 student-athletes is yet again the most in program history.

Activities will get underway on Thursday, August 25 with a team meeting at 11 a.m. From there the team will be in meetings with academics, compliance and the athletic training staff. The next morning the squad will then hit the road for a week of training at Camp Voyageur in Ely, MN.

The Gophers will have their annual Intrasqaud meet on Friday, September 3 and open the regular season of competition on Friday, September 9 as they host the Oz Memorial.
