The Gophers took home the individual and team titles at the Oz Memorial Run Friday evening
2017 • Redshirt Freshman Season: Ran six races • ran a career-best 6K time of 21:28.6 at Jack's Run as the third Gopher in sixth overall • ran a career-best 5K time of 17:48.29 at the Greater Louisville Classic as the eighth Gopher in 86th overall • made her Gopher debut at the season-opening Indiana Open 5K (18:47.3), placing 10th on the team in 36th overall • finished second on the team and fourth overall at the Oz Memorial (22:51.0) • placed third on the team and 34th overall in the open race at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invite (22:04.6) • named an alternate for the NCAA Midwest Regional and NCAA Championship.
2016 • Freshman Season: Competed unattached at two meets.
High School: A 2016 graduate of Fairview High School • four-year track & field letterwinner and two year cross country letterwinner • two-time all-state honoree • six-time track& field state meet qualifier as a sophomore and junior before missing her senior year due to injury • placed third in both the 4x400m relay and 4x800m relays along with placing 13th in the 1,600m (5:09) at the 2014 Colorado High School State Track & Field 5A Championship as a sophomore • finished eighth in both the 4x400m relay and 4x800m relay while taking 16th in the 800m (2:20) at the 2015 state meet as a junior • named tema captain as a senior and received Clutch Performance and Team Motivator awards • owns high school personal best marks of 58.7 in the 400m (2015), 2:17 in the 800m (2014), 5:09 in the 1,600m (2014), and 18:47 for 5K in cross country.
