2014 • Freshman Season: Did not compete.

High School: A 2014 graduate of Rapid City Stevens High School • five-time letterwinner in cross country, track & field and swimming • led cross country team to the South Dakota Class AA title as a senior and runner-up finish as a junior • placed second at the 2013 South Dakota Class AA cross country championship in 14:24.81 • three-time Gatorade South Dakota Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year • five-time South Dakota Class AA track & field state champion in the 1,600m (2011), 3,200m (2011, 2013 and 2014) and 4x800m relay (2011) • three-time state runner-up in the 1,600m (2013, 2014) and 4x800m relay (2013) • 2011 and 2013 conference champion in the 1,600m and 3,200m • holds Rapid City Stevens school records in 1,600m (5:00) and 3,200m (10:42) • also swam competitively in high school • National Honor Society member.

Personal: Born February 22, 1996 • daughter of Jeff and Kelly Gorman • has one older brother, Brian, who competed for the University of Minnesota swim team from 2011-13 • father, Jeff, swam for the Gophers from 1983-85 • enjoys camping, cooking, hiking and spending time with family and friends • intends to major in elementary education • competitive triathlete • became the first American woman to win a junior worlds title at the 2013 International Triathlon Union (ITU) Junior World Championships with a first-place time of 57 minutes, 8 seconds on the 750-meter swim, 22.5-kilometer bike, 5-kilometer run course • placed third at the 2012 ITU Junior World Championships.
