Gophers Finish 27th at NCAA Championships
Minnesota matches last year's finish at Championships
2011 Senior Season: Raced in seven meets paced the Gophers at the NCAA Championships, finishing 41st overall with 20:44 raced 21:08.03 at the Midwest Regional Meet to lead Minnesota and finish sixth overall led the team as the fifth-place finisher overall at the Big Ten Championships with a time of 20:30 paced the Gophers with a 16th-place finish at the Wisconsin Adidas 6K, racing her season-best time of 20:27 defeated nine teams in winning the SDSU Invite in 17:19.1 ran the Gopher's best race at the Roy Griak Invitational, finishing in fifth-place overall in 20:50.55 won the first meet of the year, clocking 21:17.87 at the Oz Memorial
2010 Junior Season: Became the seventh different Gopher All-American, placing 31st at the NCAA Championships Midwest Region champion with the Gophers' second best time ever (20:01.48) named All-Big Ten after finishing second at the conference championships with the best time in Minnesota history (19:55.50) won the Oz Memorial Run finished second at the Griak Invitational named the team's Most Valuable Runner Academic All-Big Ten letterwinner.
2009 Sophomore Season: All-Midwest Region helped Gophers to a 10th-place finish at NCAA Championships Gophers' number-five runner (21:23.8), 112th overall, at NCAA meet team's third runner at Big Ten Championships with a season-best time of 21:19 ran in six meets Academic All-Big Ten varsity letterwinner most improved team award.
2008 Freshman Season: Ran in five races named the Gophers' Freshman of the Year the team's number-four finisher at the Tori Neubauer Invitational with a season-best time of 22:24.5.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Loyola Catholic High School high school coach was Dale Compton placed 35th in the 2007 Minnesota Class A Cross Country Championships state meet competitor in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters earned all-state honors as a freshman in the 4x800-meter relay with sister Sarah on the relay as well totaled 16 varsity letters in high school: track (6), soccer (5), basketball (3) and cross country (2) graduated at the top of her class a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born July 30, 1989 nursing major daughter of Art and Sharon Price the fifth of eight children with siblings: Cassandra, Derek, Sarah, Rodney, Rachal, Shane and Sheldon.
