2015 • Redshirt Junior Season: Named All-Midwest Region, USTFCCCA All-Academic, and Academic All-Big Ten honoree • served as team captain • ran seven races, including three-straight career-best performances at the NCAA Midwest Regional (20:38.3), Big Ten Championship (20:38.7) and Wisconsin adidas Invitational (20:40.8) • named All-Midwest Region after placing 13th overall as the second Gopher in a career-best 20:38.3 • placed 72nd overall as the second Gopher at the NCAA Championship (20:40.1) • ran 20:38.7 to place 19th as the third Gopher at the Big Ten Championship • finished 67th overall as the second Gopher at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (20:40.8) • led the Gophers and placed 13th overall at the Griak Invitational (21:53.2) • finished 17th overall as the second Gopher at the Greater Louisville Classic 5K (17:18.78) • finished fifth as the second Gopher at the season-opening Oz Memorial (22:21.0).
2014 • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten • ran seven races • finished 10th on the team and 29th overall at the BYU Autumn Classic, finishing the 3-mile race in 19:12.4 • took 68th overall as the fifth Gopher at the Griak in 22:37.5 • placed seventh overall and fifth on the team at the SDSU Classic 5K in 18:13.71 • finished fifth on the team in 21:55 at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational • ran a career-best 21:14.6 as the fifth Gopher at the Big Ten Championships in 43rd place overall • finished 70th overall as the fifth Gopher in 21:28.6 at the NCAA Midwest Regional • finished fifth for the Gophers and 219th overall in her NCAA Championships debut, clocking a time of 22:09.5.
2013 • Redshirt Freshman Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten • raced in six meets, including three races as the top Gopher finisher • ran a career-best 21:43 as the third Gopher in 11th overall at the open race of the Wisconsin adidas Invitational • led the Gophers and finished second overall at Jack's Run (22:00.5) • led the Gophers and finished fourth overall at the Blugold Invitational (22:09.10) • led the Gophers and finished fifth overall at Rocky's Run (22:48) • was the 12th Gopher runner at the Griak Invitational in 95th overall (22:30.8) • opened the season with a 15th place showing at the Oz Memorial (23:39.5) • earned first varsity letter.
2012 • Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2012 cross country season and the 2013 indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.
High School: A graduate of Plymouth High School • 2012 Wisconsin Division I champion in the 3200 meters with a personal record of 10:43.01, after a runner-up finish in 2011 • added a third-place finish and PR in the 1600m in 2012 (4:58.60) • competed at the state meet four years in a row • finished third in the state cross country meet as a senior • all-state academic honoree • National Honor Society member.
Personal: Born December 1, 1993 • daughter of Steve and Chris Johnson • has two siblings, Lauren and Luke • major is food science.
