2017 • Sophomore Season: Ran eight races • began the season by racing unattached at two meets, placing seventh at the Oz Memorial and 84th overall at the Griak • ran a career-best 6K time of 20:56.7 as the top Gopher and overall runner-up at Jack's Run • finished sixth on the team at the Big Ten Championship (21:43.5), NCAA Midwest Regional (21:19.84), and NCAA Championship (21:46.40) • finished second on the team and 29th overall in the open race at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invite • made season debut in uniform at the Greater Louisville Classic 5K, finishing 11th on the team and 146th overall in a season-best 18:16.23 for 5K.
2016 • Freshman Season: Ran in six meets this season • recorded a career-best 6K time of 22:12.5 at Jack’s Run to finish ninth overall as the seventh Gopher • ran a career-best 5K time of 17:34.4 as the runner-up in the open race at the Notre Dame Invitational • served as an alternate at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
High School: A 2016 graduate of Urbandale High School where she competed for coaches Dan Davis, Brooke Schupbach, and Randy Hutchison • four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track & field also earned two letters in basketball • three-time All-Central Iowa Conference and all-state honoree in cross country • earned back-to-back top-five finishes at the Iowa Class 4A State Cross Country Championship, finishing fourth as a senior and fifth as a junior in 2014 • led Urbandale to the 2015 IHSAA Girls Cross Country Class 4A State Championship team title, the school's first in girls cross country • owns high school cross country personal bests of 14:33.90 for 4K (2014) and 18:14.90 for 5K (2015) • on the track, was a two-time All-Central Iowa Conference and all-state honoree • All-Central Iowa Conference champion in the 4x800m relay as a senior • 10-time state qualifier for the IHSAA Girls Track & Field 4A State Championship competing in the 800m, 1,500m, 3,000m, 4x800m relay, and distance medley relay • earned five top-three state meet finishes • won the 4x800m relay (9:09.90), placed third in the 3,000m (9:45.72) and 1,500m (4:33.42), and took seventh in the 800m (2:15.54) at the 2016 IHSAA Girls Track & Field 4A State Championship as a senior • finished 10th in the 3,000m at the state meet as a junior • won the 4x800m relay state title, earned a state runner-up finish in the distance medley relay, took sixth in the 1,500m, and finished seventh in the 800m at the state championship as a sophomore to help Urbandale to the team state title • took 14th in the state in the 4x800m relay as a freshman • owns high school personal bests of 2:15.18 in the 800m (2014), 4:29.37 in the 1,500m (2016), 4:49.68 in the mile (2016), and 9:45.72 in the 3,000m (2016) • has held Urbandale school records in the 3,000m, 800m, 4x800m relay, and distance medley relay.
Personal: Born June 12, 1997 • daughter of Jay and Tami Prescott • has two siblings, Drew and Quinn • intends to major in kinesiology • mother Tami ran cross country and track & field at Iowa State • father Jay played basketball at Westmar College • brother Drew ran cross country and track & field at Creighton University, and brother Quinn was a member of the track & field team at the University of Northwestern St. Paul • National Honor Society member and honor roll student in high school.
