2015 • Redshirt Freshman Season: Ran three races • ran a career-best 23:41.02 as the eighth Gopher in 62nd overall at the Tori Neubauer Invitational • finished 18th on the team at the Griak Invitational (25:26.5) • made collegiate debut as the 21st Gopher at the season-opening Oz Memorial (25:49.9).

2014 • Freshman Season: Did not compete.

High School: A 2014 graduate of Hudson High School • four-time cross country letterwinner • three-time Wisconsin Division 1 cross country state meet qualifier • three-time all-conference and academic all-state honoree in cross country • placed third as a senior and fourth as a junior at Big Rivers Conference cross country championship • 2012 Nike Cross Heartland Regional Championship qualifier • named to top-50 all-time "Wall of Honor" at University of Wisconsin Camp of Champions for cross country • 2013 and 2012 regional and sectional qualifier in the 3,200m in track & field • placed 19th in the 4x800m relay at the Wisconsin Division 1 track & field state championship as a junior.

Personal: Born January 19, 1996 • daughter of Scott Snyder and Colleen O'Connell • father, Scott, played college basketball at Bethany College and University of Wisconsin • play the piano and violin and has taken voice lessons • enjoys cross country skiing and traveling • intends to major in retail merchandising.


Gophers Earn Top-20 NCAA Finish


Minnesota finished 18th in the team race for its highest NCAA finish since 2009.

Berkholtz Honored By USATF Minnesota


Senior Liz Berkholtz was named the USATF Minnesota Female Athlete of the Month for October.
