2017 • Redshirt Junior Season: Ran seven races • ended the season ranked 46th on Minnesota’s all-time top-50 6K performers list (21:34.77) • finished among the top eight Gophers at all seven meets, including three races as the fifth Gopher • recorded a career-best 6K time of 21:34.77 at the NCAA Championship, placing 199th as the fifth Gopher • placed 95th overall and seventh on the team at the NCAA Midwest Regional (21:43.19) • placed eighth on the team and 59th overall at the Big Ten Championship (21:51.8) • ran a career-best 5K time of 17:42.55 as the sixth Gopher in 73rd overall at the Greater Louisville Classic 5K.
2016 • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Named Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honoree • ran in six meets this season • finished among the top 10 Gophers in each meet • recorded a season-best 6K time of 21:38.5 at Jack’s Run, finishing second overall • ran a season-best 5K time of 18:07.6 at the Notre Dame Invitational • made B1G Championship debut, placing 83rd overall and ninth on the team in 23:13.6 • served as an alternate for the NCAA Midwest Regional • ended the season ranked 47th on Minnesota’s all-time top-50 6K performers list (21:38.5).
2015 • Redshirt Freshman Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten honoree • ran four races • ran season-best 22:51.7 as the fifth Gopher in 12th place overall at the Oz Memorial • placed 81st overall as the seventh Gopher at the Griak Invitational (23:09.3) • finished as the ninth Gopher at the Greater Louisville Classic 5K (18:11.92) • placed 28th overall and second among female finishers at Jack’s Run (23:11.1).
2014 • Freshman Season: Competed in five races as an unattached runner.
High School: A 2014 graduate of Annandale High School • six-time letterwinner in both cross country and track & field • finished fifth in 14:56.3 at the 2013 Minnesota Class A state cross country championship to lead Annandale to the team state title • helped team to state runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2011 • five-time all-state honoree and six-time all-conference honoree in cross country • named St. Cloud Times all-area runner in cross country • two-time all-state and three-time all-conference honoree in track & field • finished ninth in 3,200m and 14th in 1,600m at Minnesota Class A state championship as a junior • holds Annandale school records in 1,600m and 3,200m • academic all-state honoree.
Personal: Born June 14, 1996 • daughter of Haley Kammer and Colin Alama • has four older siblings, Bryant, Victoria, Carolyn and Colleen • enjoys traveling, swimming, and animals • psychology major with hopes of continuing education to become a physical therapist.
