2012 Senior Season: Season-best time was 25:20.39 at the Oz Memorial • finished four races overall • Academic All-Big Ten.

2011 Junior Season: Ran in four meets • finished tenth on the team at the Tori Neubauer 6k with a time of 23:45 • ran a season-best 23:29 at the Bluegold Invite • competed at the Roy Griak Invitational, running 24:32.30 • raced 24:30.61 at the Oz Memorial

2010 • Sophomore Season: Recorded a season-best time of 23:57.0 at the UWEC Invitational • ran in six meets.

2009 • Redshirt Freshman Season: Competed in six meets • Gophers' fifth runner (24:02.66), 51st overall, in UWEC Invitational • ran a season-best time of 23:49.1 in Neubauer Invitational.

2008 • Freshman Season: Redshirted the season.

On the Track: Will be a junior in 2012 • competes in the 1,500, 3,000m and 5,000m.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Preble High School • high school coaches were Dave Loritz and Mike Friss • competed in the Wisconsin Division 1 state track meet in the 3,200 meters, 1,600 meters, and 4x800-meter relay in 2008 and 3,200 meters and 4x800-meter relay in 2007 • two-time all-conference honoree in cross country and track • earned four varsity letters in cross country, two in track and soccer • a high school teammate of Gopher sophomore Anne-Marie Boyd • graduated with a 4.0 GPA • a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Born Aug. 24, 1990 • kinesiology and pre-physical therapy major • daughter of Ted and Carrie Guismer • has two brothers, Daniel and Matthew • enjoys competing in triathlons, snowboarding and skiing.


Gophers Earn Top-20 NCAA Finish


Minnesota finished 18th in the team race for its highest NCAA finish since 2009.
