Women's track and field leads the way with 45 recognized individuals
All seven NCAA Championships competitors were among the honorees.
The race raised funds for a good cause.
The Golden Gophers kicked off the 2012 season with the annual Intrasquad Meet
2012 Junior Season: The Gophers' fifth runner (40th overall) in the open race at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational with a season-best time of 21:52 the third female finisher in Jack's Run (22:50.02) raced at six meets total Academic All-Big Ten.
2011 Redshirt Sophomore Season: Placed eighth on the team and overall at the Oz Memorial, running 22:43.43 added a season-best 22:15 at the Roy Griak Invitational, good for seventh on the team took 18th overall at the SDSU Invite, clocking in at 18:15.5
2010 · Freshman Season: Redshirted the season.
On the Track: Competed in the mile, 3,000m, and 10,000m · raced in the 10,000 meters at the 2011 and 2012 Big Ten Championships.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Whitefish Bay High School · high school coaches are Mike Miller and Candance Costa · a four-time all-state performer in cross country · finished 10th as a senior helping team to Wisconsin Division 1 state title · placed eighth as a junior as team was runner-up · advanced to state track meet as a sophomore and junior in the 2-mile run · four-time letterwinner in both cross country and track.
