The University Minnesota will host the NCAA Volleyball Regionals on Friday, Dec. 10 and Saturday, Dec. 11.
On Friday, Dec. 10, the Regional Semifinal match times will occur at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Regional Final, which is scheduled on Saturday, Dec. 11, will be played at 7 p.m.
Saturday's regional final match will be telecast live on CSTV at 7 p.m. (CT). That match will be one of four regional final matches broadcast on that day. Other NCAA Regional sites include Louisville, Ky., Green Bay, Wis. and Seattle, Wash. The Final Four will take place at Long Beach, Calif.
Minnesota is the No. 1 ranked team in the region. The Golden Gophers will travel to New Haven, Conn. on Dec. 2-3 in a first and second round site that will include Albany, Yale and Long Island.
The No. 2 seed in the region, Ohio State, will host a first and second site that will include Dayton, Ohio University and Pittsburgh. The No. 3 seed Tennessee will host a first and second round site that includes Eastern Kentucky, Texas A&M and Winthrop. The No. 4 seed UC Santa Barbara will travel to Atlanta, Ga. to play in a first and second round site that includes Alabama A&M, Georgia and Georgia Tech.
It will be the first time the Minnesota volleyball program has hosted the NCAA Regionals at the Sports Pavilion.
Reserved All-Session tickets can be purchased for $25, general admission will be sold for $20 and students and seniors tickets will be $15.
