HaMinnesota junior volleyball player Stephanie Hagen (Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins) was named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Week by the conference office. Hagen shares the award with Iowa setter Fabiana De Abreu.

Hagen led Minnesota with a .509 hitting percentage in the Gophers' victories over Michigan State and Michigan and averaged 4.71 kills per game and 2.14 blocks per game in the two matches. Hagen leads Minnesota and the Big Ten with a .434 hitting percentage in overall matches and a .435 hitting percentage in Big Ten play. This is Hagen's second Big Ten award this season. Three weeks ago, she was named the Big Ten Player of the Week and the AVCA National Player of the Week.

Minnesota (20-1, 9-1 Big Ten) remains seventh in this week's AVCA/USA Today national poll. The Gophers visit Northwestern (4-16, 1-9) on Friday at 7 p.m. and sixth-ranked Wisconsin (19-2, 9-1) on Saturday at 7 p.m. Minnesota and Wisconsin are currently tied for the Big Ten lead. The match has been added to the Gophers' radio broadcast schedule and will be aired live on WDGY AM 630.
