The Minnesota-Illinois volleyball match that was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. has been moved to Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.

Minnesota’s match with Illinois was originally scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9 due to a possible conflict with the Minnesota-Michigan football game on Saturday, Nov. 8. However, the Minnesota and Illinois volleyball programs reached an agreement to play on Nov. 8.

The Golden Gophers will also face Purdue in on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. that same weekend. Illinois enters this week with a 5-3 Big Ten record, and is tied for third place with Purdue. Minnesota is in second place at 7-1, trailing first place Penn State by one match.

This weekend, the Golden Gophers will travel to Ohio State on Friday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. (CT) and then to No. 20 Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. (CT). Minnesota’s match with the Wolverines will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network on a tape-delayed basis on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. (CT).
