The Minnesota match against Wisconsin on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. will be telecast live on Fox Sports Net North. It will be the first of three Golden Gopher matches on Fox Sports Net North. Minnesota's match against Ohio State on Friday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. will also be telecast live on Fox Sports Net North. The Golden Gophers will have their match against Wisconsin on Oct. 31 shown on Fox Sports Net on a tape delayed basis on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. Minnesota also plays Ohio State on ESPN 2 on Nov. 29.

Minnesota started the week of with a three-game victory over Iowa by scores of 30-15, 30-27, 30-19. The Golden Gophers will take on No. 21 Wisconsin on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. The Badgers head into the week with an 11-4 overall record and is 3-1 in Big Ten play. After going 2-0 in its first home weekend, Wisconsin went 1-1 this past weekend falling at Michigan State in four games, while rallying from a 2-1 deficit to win at Michigan on the road. Last season Minnesota swept Wisconsin in the regular season. It was Minnesota's first sweep over Wisconsin since 1995. Last season the Golden Gophers won at Madison for the first time since Nov. 22, 1995.
