The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and Qwest Center Omaha announced that single-session tickets for the 2009 Runza/AVCA Showcase will go on sale Monday, Aug. 3, at 10 a.m.

Single-session prices are $22 for lower bowl reserved seats and $18 for upper bowl reserved seats and can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000, by visiting Ticketmaster.com or at the Qwest Center Box Office. All-session passes are also currently available with prices set at $39 (lower bowl reserved) or $32 (upper bowl reserved).

Minnesota will face Kansas State in the first match of the AVCA Showcase on Friday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. The Golden Gophers will also face 2008 NCAA Semifinalist Nebraska on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 8:30 p.m. The other matches in the AVCA Showcase will feature Michigan against Nebraska on Friday, Aug. 28 at 8:30 p.m. and Kansas State against the Wolverines on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m.
