p.mThe Minnesota volleyball team finalized a time for its match against Northern Iowa on Sunday, Sept. 12. That match, which will be the final match of the 2004 Diet Coke Classic, will be played at 1 p.m.
The Diet Coke Classic will be Minnesota's lone home tournament this season. The first match of the tournament will feature Kansas State, who made the NCAA Regionals in 2003, against Final Four participant Florida on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.
On Friday, Sept. 10 the Gators will take on 2003 NCAA participant Northern Iowa at 4 p.m. Minnesota will play its first match of the tournament against Kansas State on Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.
Kansas State will play its third and final match of the tournament against Northern Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. The Golden Gophers will play Florida in the second match on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
The annual matchup between Northern Iowa and Minnesota will conclude the tournament on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. All six matches will take place in the Sports Pavilion in the Diet Coke Classic, which will run from Sept. 9-12.
Minnesota opens its season on Friday, Aug. 27 against Colorado State in the opening round of the NACWAA Classic. The Golden Gophers will play in either the consolation or championship match of the tournament on Saturday, Aug. 28.
