The No. 10 University of Minnesota volleyball program swept the Indiana Hoosiers, 3-0, tonight in Bloomington, Ind. With the win, the Golden Gophers improve to 21-4 this season and 9-3 in the Big Ten action.
As a team, the Gophers hit .410 as they committed just five attack errors. With 39 kills, the Gophers had 83 attempts and five errors. Indiana had 37 kills, 21 attack errors in 105 attempts to hit .152 in the match. Minnesota had seven blocks to Indiana's five and held a 41-32 ratio in digs. The Gophers hit .545 in the first set, .184 in the second and .652 in the third.
Minnesota was led by Adrianna Nora, who had nine kills in 17 attempts and hit .529. Daly Santana had 10 kills in 20 swings for a .450 clip, while Tori Dixon had nine kills in 17 attempts and hit .471.
-Minnesota hit .652 in the third set, the best mark since the Gophers hit .737 in the Louisville match.
-Minnesota had just five attack errors. The last time the Gophers had that few attack errors came when they had eight against Ohio State, all in the third set.

First Set: Minnesota opened the match hitting .545 to Indiana's .233 en route to a 25-18 win and a 1-0 lead. After seven tie scores, one lead changed existed when the Gophers took a 10-9 lead. From there, the Gophers went on a 5-1 run, which ended with kills from Wittman and Santana. As the Hoosiers closed the gap at 17-15, Minnesota took a timeout. The Gophers would go up four on a block by Nora and 22-16 on a kill by Santana. The Gophers would earn set point with Nora's fourth kill, followed by Santana's fifth of the set.
Second Set: Dixon paced the Gophers in the second set when she had four kills and hit .333 as the Gophers took the second set, 25-19. Minnesota jumped out to an 8-1 lead before Indiana came back with back-to-back kills from Jordan Haverly. Minnesota would regain a four-point lead on a combined block from Dixon and Nora. The Gophers would go up, 20-14 on a Dixon kill. Wittman provided a solo block for Minnesota's 23rd point and a kill for the set point, while Indiana had a service error for a 2-0 Gopher lead.
Third Set: Minnesota hit a .652 clip in the third as the rolled to a 25-12 win. The Gophers led 14-7 after Dixon added a kill. After Indiana's Morgan Leach ended the Gopher run, Dixon came back and added another kill for a 15-8 lead. Minnesota went up 10 as Wittman provided a kill for a 19-9 lead. She then had two kills to put the Gophers up, 21-10. Minnesota finished off the set and the match with kills from Santana, her 10th of the night, Dixon, her ninth and Nora, her ninth.
