June 27, 2012
Since the Golden Gopher women’s track & field/cross country program introduced its 2012 signing class, the incoming student-athletes have added more accomplishments to their resumes. Track & field/cross country director Matt Bingle also announced an additional member of the class.
The Gophers welcome Teshon Adderley (Nassau, Bahamas) to the 2012-13 roster. Adderley is transferring from Iowa Central Community College, where she earned NJCAA All-America honors. Her 4x400-meter relay team finished second at this year’s national outdoor meet, and she won an NJCAA title in 2011 in 4x800m relay. She also won the 2012 indoor title in the 1,000m. Adderley has also competed internationally, running for Team Bahamas in the CARIFTA Games. She holds top times of 55.70 in the 400m, 2:10.78 in the 800, and 4:45.58 in the 1,500m.
