Gopher Women Showing Top Performances at Drake Relays
Alean Frawley threw a season-best in the shot put to place fourth with a mark of 47-feet, 9 1/4-inches, while teammate Amy Netland finished tenth in the discus with a throw of 150-10.

Shani Marks leapt 40-feet, 8 1/4-inches in the triple jump to place sixth. In the pole vault sophomore Monica Stearns finished eighth with a career-best vault of 12-feet, 5 1/2-inches, the second-best outdoor vault in school history.

The distance medley relay squad of Anita Menden, Rachel Schutz, Jenny Moylan and Darja Vasiljeva placed sixth with a time of 11:47.81, Minnesota's best time this season.

In the sprints competition Tahesia Harrigan advanced to the 100-meter dash finals on Saturday, April 27 with her first place heat finish of 12.01 seconds.

The Drake Relays conclude on Saturday, April 27, starting at 9 am.
