The Minnesota women's track and field team won six event titles at Hamline's Meet of the Unsaintly on Friday and Saturday in St. Paul. The Golden Gophers were also supposed to compete at Concordia-St. Paul on Wednesday, but the meet was canceled due to inclement weather.

Gophers took home a quartet of throwing titles. Christina DeLakis (shot put), Devin Stanford (discus), Lyndsey Thorpe (hammer) and Emily Betz (javelin) all won their events. Jeri Johnson-Chambers was runner-up in the hammer.

Kate Bucknam won the 3,000-meter steeplechase ahead of teammate Kaila Urick. Katie Murgic won the pole vault.

Kaitlin Mincke finished second in the 1,500 meters, behind only former Gopher Elizabeth Yetzer. Lauren Domski took second in the 800m.

The Gophers will travel to the Big Ten Championships in Columbus, Ohio, next week. The meet runs May 10-12.
