The University of Minnesota women’s track and field team finished up the weekend at the Minnesota State Open. The meet was not scored, but the Gophers had some high finishes on the day.
Next weekend the Gophers will travel to South Bend, IN to take part in the Meyo Invitational. The event is hosted by the University of Notre Dame and will be on Friday and Saturday.

60m Dash: Akuoma Omeoga 7.81 third
400m: Jessica Waldvogel 57.81 second… Linnea Johnson 58.03 third... Leighton Lerum 58.21 fourth
600m: Madison Smith 1:37.24 second
Long Jump: Nicole Murphey 5.33m (17-6) fourth
