High School: A 2009 graduate of Lakeville North High School • high school coach is Bob Ertl • competed in six Minnesota Class AA Cross Country Championships • ran on North's 2003 state cross country champion team as a seventh-grader • top individual state finish was fourth in 2005 • four-time all-state in cross country and five times in track • state titlist in the 1,600m (4:58.00) as a sophomore • earned a total of 17 times, six in cross country, six in track and five in both Nordic skiing • Athena Award winner • a member of the National Honor Society.
