Incoming Gophers Update

Minnesota's incoming class of 2012 has earned more accolades since its announcement.

High School: A graduate of Kasson-Mantorville High School • two-time Minnesota state track champion: in the 4x800-meter relay in 2009, and the 1,600m in 2010 • all-state performer every year from 2008-11 • four-time Hiawatha Valley League champion • holds school records in the 1,600m, 3,200m, and 4x800m relay • also an all-conference and academic all-state volleyball player • academic letterwinner.

Personal: Born December 31, 1993 • daughter of Michael and Michelle Mikkalson • has four siblings: Katie, Erin, Layton, and Hannah • plans to major in biology • enjoys wakeboarding, tubing, coaching young volleyball players, and playing with her dog.
