Stephanie Solfelt began her Gopher career as a member of the Minnesota swimming and diving team, but she joined the track and field team after her sophomore season.
2014 Season - Indoor: Ran five races ran a season-best 10:40.06 in the 3,000m for 14th place at Northwest Open finished seventh in the 5,000m in a season-best 18:50.97 at St. Thomas Showcase.
2014 Season - Outdoor: Ran five races competed in the 1,500m, 5,000m and 10,000m recorded season-best 5:01.30 in the 1,500m at Carleton Relays finished eighth in the 5,000m in a season-best 18:30.68 at Hamline Invitational ran a season-best 37:45.48 in the 10,000m and finished third at Hamline Twilight Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
2013 Season - Indoor: Finished second in the 5,000m at the Jack Johnson Classic season-best 5,000m time of 17:54.55 came at the Iowa State Classic ran the 3,000m at the Parents Day Open (10:25.61).
2013 Season - Outdoor: Ran the 10,000m at the Drake Relays (37:45.79) ran the 1,500m at the Meet of the Unsaintly (4:57.50) Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
2012 Season - Indoor: Ran the 5,000m at the Iowa State Classic (18:05.84) won the 5,000m at the Jack Johnson Classic in 18:06.00.
2012 Season - Outdoor: Finished third in the 5,000m at the Holst Invitational (18:02.37) and took fifth in the 10,000m at the Hamline Twilight (39:14.42).
2010-11: Swam in the Minnesota Grand Prix, Minnesota challenge, and other dual meets qualified for the 2011 World Triathlon Championships by finishing 5th at USA Triathlon Championships.
2009-10: Swam in five events in the Minnesota Grand Prix (11/13), including both IM and both breast races had a third place finish in the 200 back (2:08.83) at the Falcon Invite (12/4) added fourth place finishes in the 200 IM and 200 fly recorded season-best times in the 200 back and 400 IM at the Minnesota Challenge (2/5), finishing third in both those events.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Eden Prairie High School swam with high school team under coaches Marcy Wiesner and Dan Tripps also swam with Team Foxjet and Aquajet swim clubs NISCA All-American in 2008 and 2009 two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-America honoree two-time all-state selection four-time all-conference member member of three conference championship teams in 2006, 2007 and 2008 team captain and voted most dedicated competed at the Speedo Champion Series as well as the Junior Nationals.
Personal: Born December 11, 1990 daughter of Bob and Jody Solfelt is the third Solfelt sibling to compete in Gopher athletics older sister, Sarah, was a four-year member and captain of the women's swim team, while Mark was a four-year member and captain of the men's swim team younger brother Mike will swim for St. Thomas majored in elementary education with an autism certificate began graduate school in summer 2013 for autism and developmental cognitive disabilities for special education.
