Many new personal best performances highlight the day

Career Highlights: A 2010 NCAA Preliminary Meet competitor in the pole vault • ranks third indoor (13-7 1/4) and seventh outdoor (12-11 1/2) on the Gophers' pole vault top-10 lists.

2012 Season - Indoor: Placed ninth in the pole vault at the Big Ten Championships, clearing 12-8 3/4 (3.88m) • took sixth at the Iowa State Classic pole vault (12-2 1/2) • placed fifth at the Holiday Inn Invitational (12-1 1/2). Outdoor: Vaulted a season-best 12-8 3/4 (3.88m) to finish ninth at the Big Ten Championships • her Big Ten mark was the best vault of the season by a Gopher • finished second in pole vault at both the Hamline Twilight and Hamline Invite • Academic All-Big Ten.

2011 Season-Indoor:finished third at the Big Ten championships in the Pole Vault with a mark of 13-3 ½ (4.05m) • competed at the Iowa State Classic and took fifth overall with a vault of 13-7 ¼ (4.15m) • took third at the Minnesota Open with a mark of 12-2 (3.71m).Outdoor:won the Jim Click Shootout with a height of 12-6 (3.81m) • finished second at the Falcon Invite with a mark of 12-1 ½ (3.70m).

2010 Season - Indoor:Vaulted in seven meets, including the Big Ten Championships • cleared a career-best of 12-11 1/2 at the Iowa State Classic, the fifth-best leap in school history.Outdoor:An NCAA Preliminary Meet competitor • placed 22nd with a career-best height of 12-11 1/2, a mark that ranks seventh on Gophers' all-time list • placed sixth at the Big Ten Championships (12-9 1/2) • a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned second varsity letter.

2009 Season - Indoor:Competed in four meets • placed third (12-1 1/2) in the pole vault at the Iowa State Classic • placed 13th at the Big Ten Championships with a height of 12-4 1/2, the eighth-best height in school history • tied for sixth place at the Parents' Day Open. Outdoor:Vaulted in eight meets • placed second at the Tommie Twilight with a height of 12-1 1/2 • cleared 12-1 1/2, the eighth-best vault in school history to place third at Tiger Classic • varsity letterwinner.

High School:A 2008 graduate of Dexter High School • high school coach was Geoffrey Gerstner • the 2008 Michigan Division 2 state champion in the pole vault (11-3) • placed 13th in the 2007 Nike Outdoor Nationals • state record holder (12-7) • 2006 and 2007 state runner up • Team MVP as a junior and senior • member of the National Honor Society • competed on the equestrian team.
