2016 Season - Outdoor: Named U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier, First Team All-American and All-Big Ten First Team honoree • recorded a then career-best throw of 55.84m (183-02) to place fourth in the javelin at the NCAA Championship • ended the season ranked second in program history in the javelin • finished as Big Ten champion in javelin (53.54m, 175-08) • NCAA Championship qualifier in javelin after an eighth-place finish (50.77m, 166-07) at the NCAA West Prelim • used a then career-best throw of 53.96m (177-00) to finish as runner-up at the Virginia Challenge • won javelin at the Jaguar Classic (51.74m, 169-09) • competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing fifth in the javelin final with a career-best throw of 56.35m (184-10).
