2010 Season - Indoor: Competed in five meets • ran a top time of 5:23.42 in the mile at the Parents' Day Open. Outdoor: Did not compete.

2009 Season: Redshirted in the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Cross Country: Redshirted the 2009 season • ran five meets in 2008.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Minnetonka High School • high school coach was Jane Reimer-Morgan • earned all-state honors as a senior, finishing 14th in the Minnesota Class AA Cross Country Championships • team placed third • all-state in track as a member of the runner-up 4x800-meter relay • earned four varsity letters in track, two in cross country • a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Oct. 20, 1989 • intends to major in psychology • daughter of Bill and Julie Light • father played football for the Gophers (1969-71) serving as team captain in 1971 • has three older sisters: Brittney, Chelsea and Caitlin • enjoys water skiing, sailing and triathlons.
