Fall Academic All-Big Ten teams boast several Gopher Standouts
2012 Season - Indoor: Placed sixth in the 3000 meters at the Northwest Open (10:22.50). Outdoor: Won the 1,500 meters at the Hamline Invite with a time of 4:39.20 recorded a season-best 1,500m time at the Tommie Twilight (4:36.84) finished third in the 800m at the Holst Invitational (2:17.30) Academic All-Big Ten.
2011 Season - Indoor:competed at the ISU Classic in the mile run and finished at ninth(5:05.07) competed at the Parents' Day Open in the 3,000 meters and finished fifth (10:22.96). Outdoor:competed at the Mt. SAC Open in the 1,500 meters and finished with a time 4:36.36 ran to a fifth place finish at the Tommie Twilight (4:41.36) took third at the UWRF Falcon Invitational (4:45.44) competed in the Musco Twilight in the 3,000 meters and finished at ninth (10:20.20).
2010 Season - Indoor:Competed in five meets clocked top mile time of 5:13.52 at Iowa State Classic placed second in 1,000 meters at Minnesota State Open. Outdoor: Ran in three meets clocked a season-best of 4:45.81 in Sun Angel Classic.
2009 Season:Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
High School:A 2008 graduate of Prairie Ridge High School high school coach was Kelly MacDonald placed 75th at the 2004 Illinois Class AA cross country meet a four-year state meet competitor in the 1,600 meters, three times in the 4x800-meter relay and once in the 800 meters four-time Fox Valley Conference track titlist earned four varsity letters in cross country and track a member of the Spanish National Honors Society.
