Fall Academic All-Big Ten teams boast several Gopher Standouts

2012 Season - Indoor: Runner-up in the MSU Open 800 meters (2:19.38) • placed second in the mile at the Parents Day Open, running 5:08.03 • ran the 1200 meters in 3:44.63 at the Northwest Open, good for fifth place. Outdoor: Finished third in the 1,500 meters at the Hamline Twilight with a season-best time of 4:39.38• also competed at the Tommie Twilight.

2011 Season - Outdoor:competed in the 1,500 meters at the Musco Twilight and finished with a time of 5:02.80

2010 Season:Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor seasons.

2009 Season:Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.

High School:A 2008 graduate of Edina High School • high school coaches were Kathleen Morgan and Lynn Sosnowsk • two-time all-state honoree in track • Minnesota Class AA runner-up in the 800 meters as a sophomore in 2006, third in 2007 • top time in 800 meters was 2:15.55 • three-time All-Classic Lake Conference honoree • earned four varsity letters in track, one in soccer • Edina's 2007-08 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Personal:Born April 20, 1990 • chemistry major with a minor in biochem and math • daughter of Tom and Videhi Larson •¨father ran track for the Gophers in 1978-79 • has younger siblings Narah and Jaden • enjoys biking, reading and looking at cookbooks.
