Fall Academic All-Big Ten teams boast several Gopher Standouts
2012 Season - Indoor: Placed twelfth in the Northwest Open 3000 meters (10:56.15). Outdoor: Ran a season-best time of 4:53.75 in the 1,500 meters at the Hamline Twilight also ran at the Hamline Twilight.
2011 Season:ran a 5:28.58 in the mile run at the Parents Day Open competed at the St. Thomas Show Case and placed seventh (5:31.30) finished in 5:35.98 at the Minnesota Open competed at the UWRF Falcon Invitational in the 1,500 meters and finished with a time of 4:59.50ran a 5:01.58 at the Tommie Twilight.
2010 Season - Indoor:Ran in one meet. Outdoor: Competed in three meets in the 1,500 meters ran season-best time of 4:58.11 at the Hamline Twilight Meet.
2009 Season - Indoor: Competed in three meets placed second (5:13.77) in the mile run at the UW-River Falls Classic ran the 3,000m at the Minnesota Open.Outdoor:Competed in the 1,500m at the Phil Esten Challenge.
2008 Season:Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
High School:A 2007 graduate of Waukesha West High School high school coach was Chris Ramsey led West to two Wisconsin Division 1 titles in cross country (2004, 2005) and three track crowns (2004, 2005, 2006) cross country runner-up in 2006 a three-time all-state honoree in cross country placed seventh as a sophomore, 11th as a junior and ninth as a senior Classic 8 Conference medalist as a junior an 11-time all-state performer on the track placed seventh as a senior in the 800 meters (2:17.86) two-time all-state in the 1,600 meters two-time state champion and eight-time all-state honoree in the relays won a 4x800-meter relay title as a sophomore and a 4x400-meter relay crown as a junior also competed in cross country skiing all-state in skiing as a senior a member of the National Honor Society.
