High School: A graduate of Belmont High School • 2010 Wisconsin state champion in discus • 2011 and 2012 runner-up in both shot put and discus • four-time Six Rivers Conference discus champion and three-time shot put champion • 2012 Wisconsin State Journal Female Athlete of the Year • 2012 Pat Richter Award winner as the state's Triple Play Triple Threat Female Athlete of the Year • holds school records in discus (147-5) and shot put (45-7 1/4) • also a standout in basketball and volleyball • WIAA Scholar Athlete • National Honor Society member • earned awards in science and history.

Personal: Born March 28, 1994 • daughter of David and Jackie Kamps • has three siblings: Kara, Kassi and Keegan • mother (volleyball) and father (track and basketball) played sports at UW-Platteville • sisters Kara (basketball at UW-Whitewater) and Kassi (currently in track at Winona State) were also student-athletes • plans to major in kinesiology/movement science • enjoys juggling, hanging out with friends, being outdoors, camping and playing sports with her family, and playing saxophone.
