Minnesota improves fall Academic All-Big Ten total by 11

2013 Season - Indoor: Competed in the 800m at the Big Ten Championships • ran a season-best time of 2:14.25 in the 800m at the Meyo Invitational • part of the winning distance medley relay team at the Parents Day Open • also competed in the 1,000m and the mile during the season.

2012 Season - Indoor: Finished eighth at the Big Ten Championships in the 800 meters, running a time of 2:11.71 • won the Jack Johnson Classic 800 meters in 2:14.07 • runner-up at the Northwest Open 1200 meters (3:41.47). Outdoor: Recorded a season-best time of 2:12.57 in the 800 meters in a second-place finish at the Bulldog Invitational • part of the Gophers' distance medley relay (Minnesota's eighth-best all-time) and 4x800m relay at the Drake Relays • Academic All-Big Ten.

2011 Season - Indoor: Ran at the Iowa State Classic in the 800 meters and finished with a time of 2:15:14 • competed at the Jack Johnson Classic and placed seventh (2:18:00) • won the Minnesota Open in the 600 meters with a time of 1:35:40 • took third at the Parents Day Open (1:35:68) • competed at the Big Ten Championship in the 600 meters and finished with a time of 1:35.78. Outdoor: competed in the Tommie Twilight in the 800 meters and placed third (2:14.51) • ran at the Bulls Invitational and placed seventh (2:15.39) • competed at the UWRF Falcon Invitational and placed third (2:16.24) • ran at the Musco Twilight and placed seventh (2:16.81).

2010 Season - Indoor: Ran a career best 2:12.89 at the Iowa State Classic • competed at the Big Ten Championships and ran a 2:13.05 in the prelims. Outdoor: Ran a 2:12.99 800-meter race at the Sun Angel Classic.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Rogers High School • high school coach was Steve Leuer • a five-time all-state performer • placed third in the Minnesota Class AA State Championships in the 800 meters, fourth as a junior and seventh as a sophomore • also earned an all-state accolade in the high jump (2007) and 4x800m relay (2005) • a four-year letterwinner in soccer, basketball and track • earned four all-conference awards in track and two in soccer • played on two state basketball tournament teams, helping Rogers to a third-place finish in 2008 • graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA, fifth among her graduating class of 265 students • a member of the National Honor Society • AAA Award winner, Athena Award winner and ExCEL award winner.
