Minnesota Places 167 Student-Athletes On Spring Academic All-Big Ten Teams

Women's track and field leads the way with 45 recognized individuals

2013 Season - Indoor: Ran the mile at the Northwest Open (5:52.03) • Academic All-Big Ten.

2012 Season - Indoor: Placed fifth at the Parents Day Open 600 meters (1:38.69) • also competed at the Jack Johnson Classic. Outdoor: Posted a season-best time of 2:18.61 in the 800 meters at the Tommie Twilight • also competed at the Hamline Twilight and Holst Invitational.

2011 Season: Redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Stephens Point Area Senior High • placed sixth in the 400 meters in the 2010 Wisconsin Division 1 state meet with a time of 57.97 • added a 12th-place finish in the 200 meters • competed in the state meet 2008-10 • earned All-Wisconsin Valley Conference honors all four years of high school • also a four-time letterwinner in cross country • honor roll student.

Personal: Born October 8, 1991 • intends to major in dietetics • daughter of John and Roxanne Forrest • has older sisters Brittany and Hilary • sister Hilary runs track at UW-Eau Claire • enjoys snowboarding.
