2012 Season - Indoor: A Big Ten Championships competitor in the 5,000 meters • raced the 10th-best 5,000m race in school history at the Meyo Invitational (16:46.11) • placed eighth in the mile run at the Iowa State Classic (4:49.81) • ran the Jack Johnson mile in 4:55.65, good for fourth place • runner-up in the Northwest Open 3000 meters (9:49.87). Outdoor: Competed in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA West Preliminary Round • finished fourth in the 10,000m at the Big Ten Championships (35:02.06) • also finished seventh in the 5,000m with a season-best time of 16:42.24 • owned the team's top 2012 times in the 3,000m, 5,000m, and 10,000m as well as the second-best time in the 1,500m • won the 3,000m at the Aztec Invitational (9:44.08) • ran the fifth-best 10,000m time in school history at the Stanford Invite, finishing 12th (34:07.40) • with the team's fastest split (4:41), anchored the 4x1,600m relay that took second at the Drake Relays • Academic All-Big Ten.
2011 Season Indoor: Competed at the Parents Day Open in the 3,000 meters and finished in second place (10:00.29) • ran at the Big Ten Championship in the 5,000 meters and finished with a time 17:45.21. Outdoor: competed at the Jim Click Shootout in the 3,000 meters and finished seventh (10:07.33) •ran to a second place finish at the Bulls Invitational in the 5,000 meters (17:25.68) • competed at the 10,000 meters in the Mt. Sac Open and placed eighth (35:44.57) • competed in the Big Ten Championship in the 10,000 meters and finished with a time of 36:16.18
