2018 Season - Indoor: Ran five races with appearances in the mile and 3,000m • ran a season-best 5:13.15 in the mile at the UST Invite • ran a career-best 10:13.52 in the 3,000m at the UST Opener.
2018 Season - Outdoor: Named Academic All-Big Ten • ran four races • ran a career-best 18:50.84 in the 5,000m at the Hamline Twilight.
2017 Season - Indoor: Ran six races • ran career-best times in the 800m (2:22.52) and 3,000m (10:33.96) • clocked a season-best mile time of 5:12.97.
2017 Season - Outdoor: Ran six races • ran a career-best time in the 800m (2:21.47) • posted season-best marks of 4:43.99 in the 1,500m and 10:19.72 in the 3,000m.
2016 Season - Indoor: Competed unattached in seven races.
2016 Season - Outdoor: Competed unattached in five races.
High School: A 2015 graduate of McFarland High School where she ran for coaches Bruce Fischer and Andrew Garvey • four-year track & field letterwinner • two-year letterwinner in both swimming and cross country • helped McFarland HS to Rock Valley Conference titles on the track in 2012 and 2014 and in cross country in 2014 • placed 62nd overall and 36th in the team standings as a senior at the 2014 WIAA Division 2 Cross Country Championships in 20:31.40 to help McFarland to a runner-up team finish • four-time WIAA Division 2 State Track & Field Championship participant in the 4x800m relay (2013, 2015) and 3,200m (2013, 2014) • finished seventh in the 4x800m relay at the state championship as a senior • placed eighth in the 3,200m run in 11:02.09 at the 2014 state meet as a junior • took seventh in the 3,200m (11:09.41) and ran on McFarland's 10th-place 4x800m relay team as a sophomore • owns personal bests of 2:22 for 800m, 4:37 for 1,500m, 5:11 for 1,600m and 11:02 for 3,200m • holds McFarland HS record in the 800m (2:22) • received team’s Most Valuable Player, Team Spirit Award, Most Improved and Tough as Nails awards • placed 17th in the 1,500m in 5:01 at the 2012 Junior Olympic Championships in Baltimore, Md. • Rock Valley Conference all-academic top-10 honoree • ran for the Eastside Sharks Track & Field Club.
Personal: Born October 29, 1996 • daughter of Leslie Smith and Bryan Smith • has one brother, Jordan, who was a decathlete on the track & field team at Marquette University • given name is Allyson • major is genetics and cell biology with a Spanish minor • enjoys reading, singing, playing the piano and saxophone, water sports, and swimming • National Torch and Laurel Society Honors Program member, four-time Academic Excellence Service Award recipient, 2015 WIAA Scholar Athlete nominee • National Honor Society President.
