Koprivica meets Natasha Marks of Arizona in her first round pairing. Koprivica and Ferrazzi will also team up in doubles and take on 41st-ranked Kelcy McKenna and Micaela Hein of Arizona State in the opening match. The singles tournament opens with two matches on Friday and continues with quarterfinals on Saturday and semifinals and finals on Sunday. Doubles teams will play one match Friday, two on Saturday and the finals on Sunday.
The Gophers will also compete in the Drake Invitational, beginning on Friday. Minnesota opened the season with the Gopher Invitational on Sept. 12-14 with six players participating in the draw. This weekend's tournament is one of three fall tournaments before the ITA Midwest Regional, which opens on Oct. 23 in East Lansing, Mich. Pairings for the Drake tournament have not been released as of Thursday afternoon.
