Niltooli Wilkins continued her success on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association summer circuit with a semifinal appearance in St. Louis July 10-13.

Wilkins, who won an event last summer in Manhattan, Kan., used three super-tiebreaker victories to reach the semifinals where she lost to third-seeded Marissa Lambropoulos of Illinois 6-4, 6-3.

In the quarterfinals, Wilkins avenged a super-tiebreaker loss from the regular season against Chelcie Abajian of Illinois with a 2-6, 6-4, (10-5) victory. She also posted a 6-1, 4-6 (10-7) win over Ally Majercik of Iowa and a 4-6, 6-2, (10-6) win over Lindsay Smith of Grinnell College (Iowa).

Leigh Finnegan from Illinois beat Lambropoulos 4-6, 6-1, (10-7) in the title match.
