Minnesota clinched the doubles point as Valerie Vladea and Amy Thomas defeated Karin Coetzee and Aimee Smith, 8-6, at No. 1. Nischela Reddy and Brandi Watts also won at No. 3 by the score of 8-3 over Danielle Schwartz and Elizabeth Proctor.
The two teams split the six singles matches as Angela Buergis defeated Coetzee at No. 1 singles by the score of 6-2, 0-6, 6-2. Michaela Havelkova and Thomas also posted three-set wins for Minnesota.
