Final Stats

Natallia Pintusava closed out the Women’s ITA Central Region Championship Tournament for Minnesota today in Tulsa, Okla. The junior, who was the sole remaining Gopher in the competition, continued her competitive run through the consolation bracket.

The day began for Pintusava in the semifinals where she faced Oklahoma’s Mia Lancaster. Pintusava powered through the first set to a 7-5 score and sailed with her momentum to a 6-2 score in the second.

The win earned Pintusava a spot in the consolation finals against Ivana Kubickova of Kansas State but was forced to default due to scheduling conflicts, finished the tournament with a second-place prize.
