Kalyssa Hall comes to the Gophers after winning two 4A state championships at Cherry Creek High School.
The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers will be traveling to Florida Gulf Coast University in Estero, Fla. on Thursday to compete in the FGCU Fall Tournament.
The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers finished strong after four days of competition at the Gopher Invitational at Baseline Tennis Center this weekend.
The third day of the Gopher Invite saw some hard fought matches for the maroon and gold at Baseline Tennis Center as they won two doubles draws.
The University of Minnesota women's tennis team continued to play strong today, the second day of the Gopher Invitational at Baseline Tennis Center.
Did not participate in any varsity matches.
2016 FALL SEASON
Went 6-7 in singles play and 6-6 in doubles • picked up her first collegiate victory against Barbora Kollarova 7-6, 4-6, 10-3 at the Gopher Invitational • was apart of four doubles wins at the Gopher Invitational • won two matches at the FGCU Fall Tournament • picked up two singles victories at the ITA Central Region Championships • won three matches to finish off the fall season at the Kitty Harrison Invite.

Graduated from Cherry Creek High School • three-time letter winner in tennis • won the 4A state championships at No. 1 singles in 2013 and 2014 • was all-state in 2013 and 2014 • was all-county, all-conference, all-area and all-city in 2013, 2014 and 2015 • was named the Colorado High School Player of the Year by the Colorado Hall of Fame in 2014 • played in the USTA Intermountain winter, spring and summer sectionals in 2013 • was ranked No. 1 in Intermountain age group rankings in the 12, 14 and 16s • finished high school with a 4.08 GPA and graduated with highest honors.
