The No. 12 University of Minnesota women’s swimming and diving team will play host to Big Ten foe Iowa Friday night at the University Aquatic Center. Events are scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
The Gophers are coming off a, 183-112, victory over Wisconsin last weekend, where they claimed first-place honors in 14 out of the 16 events. Minnesota will look to remain undefeated as they sit 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in Big Ten action.
Following the first four dual meets, the Gophers have consistently received Big Ten Weekly Awards, earning 10 thus far on the season. After the Wisconsin meet, junior diver Maggie Keefer was named the Big Ten Co-Diver of the Week for the second time this year and the seventh time throughout her career.
Minnesota matches up against the Hawkeyes, who are 1-0 on the season after taking down Michigan State, 182-117.
