Junior Kierra Smith will head to the Gold Coast to compete in the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships. She will represent team Canada, competing in the 200 breast.
Held every four years, the Pan Pacific Championships is a major event for those looking to qualify for the Olympics next summer.
Joining Smith are two former Gophers. Class of 2008 alum David Plummer will race the 100 backstroke for team USA and class of 2013 breaststroke swimmer Josh Hall will compete for the Philippines.
