ChallKim Bahmer earns her first Big Ten Diver of the Week honor of her career on Feb. 12 after posting two NCAA Zone qualifying marks at the Minnesota Challenge on Feb. 10 at the University Aquatic Center.
The junior from Shakopee, Minn. won the three-meter diving competition with a personal-best score of 512.65 points to mark the fifth-best three-meter score in school history. Bahmer also placed second in the one-meter competition, scoring a season-best total of 268.80 points. Bahmer currently holds the fourth best one-meter diving total in Gopher history (294.90), which she set last season.
Bahmer will continue competition when the Gophers travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. to compete in the 2002 Big Ten Championships on Feb. 21- 23.
