Minnesota vs. Purdue •The last encounter between the Boilermakers and the Gophers was during B1G quad duals last season. The Gophers took down Purdue 268-85. Kierra Smith had two gold finishes in both the 400 IM and 200 breast.

Ranks • The Golden Gophers are going into this weekend undefeated, with a 7-0 record. Minnesota is currently ranked No. 13 according to the NCAA. In comparison, the Purdue men are ranked No. 18 and Wisconsin is not ranked.
