For the second-straight day, University of Minnesota sophomore Maggie Keefer was the top finisher for the Gopher diving team, as she posted a score of 624.75 in 3 meter diving Friday evening to secure a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships at the University of Iowa Campus Recreation and Wellness Pool.
Keefer posted a score of 624.75 on the day to secure the fourth-place finish, registering a score of 299.0 in the preliminaries, before recording a score of 325.75 in the final round to secure the top-five finish.
Katie Grunawalt recorded a 20th-place finish with a score of 261.30 in the preliminaries, while Sarah McCrady recorded a 22nd-place finish with a score of 258.75. Katy Etterman concluded the prelims in 27th place with a 243.10 mark.
Keefer, McCrady, Grunawalt and Etterman will hit the pool again Saturday in platform diving for the final day of competition.
