2016-17 Sophomore Season: Outstanding student-athlete award •finished in 1:06.66 in the 100-yard breast against Wisconsin • earned a 2:29.01 in the 200-yard breast against Wisconsin • earned fifth place in the 100-yard breast with a 1:05.38 at the Jean Freeman Invitational • finished 10th with a 2:27.43 in the 200-yard breast at the Jean Freeman Invitational.  

2015-16 Freshman Season:
First-year letterwinner • At the 2016 Big Ten Championships, Sauder finished 38th in the 100 breast and 58th in the 200 breast • Competed in eight meets during her rookie season • Made her collegiate debut at Florida State.

High School: 2015 graduate of Normal Community High School • Honor Roll 9th-12th grade • National Honor Society Member • Coached by Heather Budak • Swimming letter winner 2013-2015 • All Conference • All State • USA Swimming Junior National qualifier • Big 12 Conference Scholar Athlete 2014, 2015 • Illinois Swimming Association All State Team 2014, 2015 • Recipient of the Ironman Award from high school swim team • Most memorable sports thrill was qualifying for USA Junior Nationals for the first time in the 200 breaststroke.

Personal: Born August 15, 1997 • Daughter of Phil and Kathy Sauder • Has three siblings: Stephanie, Ellie and Mitchell • Father, Phil, played basketball at Illinois Wesleyan University from 1986-1988 • Played piano for six years, sang in high school choir all four years • Enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and being active outdoors • Kinesiology major.
