Nine Golden Gophers maintained a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the 2014-15 academic year.

2015-16 Junior Season: Academic All-Big Ten • Finished 17th in the 200 free relay and 25th in the 400 free relay at the 2016 NCAA Championships for the Gophers • At the 2016 Big Ten Championships, Raatz finished 4th in the 400 free relay, 5th in the 200 free relay, 18th in the 50 free, 29th in the 100 free and 38th in the 200 free • Tallied 19 top-five finishes during the regular season • Earned three gold finishes in Minnesota’s win at North Dakota.

2014-15 Sophomore Season: 2015 Academic All-Big Ten • Most Improved, voted by team • Member of the 2015 NCAA Championships roster • During the 2015 Big Ten Championships, Raatz finished 17th in the 100 free, 18th in the 50 free and 61st in the 200 free (2/19-2/21) • Finished 10th in the 100 fly at the 2015 Minnesota Challenge (2/7) • Placed 5th in the 100 free and 9th in the 200 free during the Big Ten Triple Dual (1/30-1/31) • At N.C. State, Raatz took 6th in the 100 free and 7th in the 50 free (1/23-1/24) • Finished 7th in the 50 free at Hawaii (1/7) • During the 2014 Jean K. Personal: Born May 19, 1995 • daughter of Frederic and Cynthia Raatz • has four older brothers: Johanan, Michael, Stephen, and Matthew • brother Johanan swam for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee his freshman year • her favorite sports thrill was taking third place at the YMCA Nationals as a member of a relay team • plans to major in physiology • loves to study and read the Bible.
