North Dakota Doubleheader Canceled
The Gophers and UND will not make up the games originally schedule for Wednesday.

MINNEAPOLIS – The No. 12/13 Minnesota softball team’s doubleheader against North Dakota Wednesday has been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be made up. The meeting between the teams would have been the first since 1978.

The Gophers will pick up play when they host Big Ten foe Penn State Jane Sage Cowles Stadium at 6 p.m. Friday, 3:05 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday. Saturday’s game will air live on the Big Ten Network.

Minnesota’s home schedule concludes next Wednesday with a doubleheader against North Dakota State that begins at 2 p.m.

Entering the weekend, the Gophers have a 33-8 record with an 11-5 mark in Big Ten play.
